Position Description

We are currently hiring Finish Carpenter in Richmond, VA. The ideal Finish Carpenter has 5+ years finish carpentry experience with a deep understanding of finishing techniques and has to ability to execute projects with precision. You will be responsible for all aspects of finish carpentry from intricate trim work to custom cabinetry etc. Pay is $26 - $32 based on skill set and experience.

Finish Carpenter Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of finish carpentry i.e. baseboards, crown molding, door and window casings, wainscoting, cabinetry installation, door installation (including pre-hung and custom such as pocket doors), hardware installation, and custom millwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets or exceeds quality standards and client expectations. Identify and correct any deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, addressing questions and concerns in a respectful and informative manner.

Finish Carpenter Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as a finish carpenter
• OSHA 10/30 is a plus but not required
• Supervisory experience a plus
• Must have your own tools
• Your own reliable transportation
• Clean driving record (MVR)
